Hi Gina

Tried to ring you about next week but there's no answer.

If you still want us to cover we'll use our own quiz if that's ok. We normally do a music quiz, followed by a six round general knowledge quiz. We do the same as you in terms of giving a picture quiz out while theyre waiting.

Is there a charge or is it free to enter? And how much do you charge the landlord? We also need directions.

If you want to ring me my number is 01942 796350. If I dont hear from you I'll phone again tomorrow.

Regards

Sue

Hi Gina
Ive spoken to Chris and he suggested contacting you. We do a quiz every Tuesday at the Fleece in Penwortham and we're due to go on holiday next week. The guy who normally stands in for us has let us down. Chris has said that if you can do it, he'll help you as its quite busy and it takes to of us to run it.

We'd very much appreciate your help, but understand if you cant do it. The two Tuesdays concerned are the 8th and 15th of July.

Thanks a lot

Sue and Kev

Gina you will be surprised how many pubs dont like change , they seem to like to stick with something they are used to. GOOD LUCK TONIGHT...

I did, at one pub, no money involved, did it for charity and the prize was a teddy, I have tried to put the idea, to my 2 other quiz night pubs, but they dont fancy change as yet, and the way things are at the moment, I cant get them to put a decent prize money up, doing a charity quiz tonight, might take my little boxes and again do it just for fun, will let you know how it goes Gina x

I take it you never tried deal or no deal then !!!

HI GINA, THE VERSION OF DEAL OR NO DEAL THAT I USE, 16 BOXES, 16 DIFFERENT CASH AMOUNTS IN EACH RANGING FROM 1p TO £200.00 OR WHATEVER THE JACKPOT AMOUNT HAPPENS BE.I SELL RAFFLE TICKETS DURING THE EVENING AND AFTER THE QUIZ WE DO THE DRAW TO DECIDE WHO GETS TO PLAY THE GAME. WHOEVER GETS DRAWN OUT CHOOSES ONE OF THE 16 BOXES AND THAT IS THEIRS TO KEEP FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE GAME.THEY WILL NEXT BE ASKED TO SELECT FOUR BOXES WHICH WILL BE OPENED IN TURN, AND THE AMONTS IN EACH BOX WILL BE REMOVED FROM A BOARD WHICH CONTAINS ALL THE CASH AMOUNTS AVAILABLE. AT THIS POINT THE "BANKER" ( MANAGER OF THE VENUE ) WILL MAKE HIS FIRST CASH OFFER TO BUY THE BOX . I WILL THEN ASK THE PLAYER DEAL OR NO DEAL, IF THE THE ANSWER IS NO DEAL ANOTHER 4 BOXES WILL BE OPENED AND THE " BANKER " WILL MAKE HIS SECOND OFFER. IF THE ANSWER IS NO DEAL, 3 MORE BOXES WILL BE OPENED. AGAIN AFTER THE OFFER THE ANSWER IS NO DEAL, 3 MORE BOXES TO BE OPENED.AT THIS POINT THE "BANKER" WILL MAKE HIS FINAL OFFER, IF THIS IS ANSWERED WITH NO DEAL, THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO SWOP THIER BOX FOR THE REMAINING BOX ON THE TABLE. IF THEY DO NOT WISH TO SWOP THEIR BOX THEY WILL BE GIVEN THE KEY FOR THE BOX THEY CHOSE AT THE BEGINNING AND WHAT EVER CASH AMOUNT IT CONTAINS IS THE AMOUNT THEY WIN.THE GAME TAKES ABOUT TEN MINUTES.HOPE THIS HELPS GIVE IT A GO, ITS GREAT FUN !!!
